BestChoice is phone and tablet-friendly. The topics in a course come up on these devices through the typical three bar menu and links that are at the left of the screen. Page progress can be viewed by clicking on the inverted triangle next to the total mark for the page. Most activities have been optimised for the phone and the pages work just like those on a personal computer.
This course has been designed to help prospective first year university Chemistry students who have had some years away from formal study or who do not have a strong background in chemistry. The content is particularly geared toward preparation for CHEM 110 at The University of Auckland, but this course could be used to prepare for any first year chemistry paper. There are over 1000 screen pages of information and questions available with over 3000 possibilities to answer questions and receive instructive feedback.
The cost is $NZ85.00. No credit is given toward any university course.
