Many of the questions in this module depend on knowledge of the periodic table. The periodic table summarizes lots of chemical information and is an exceedingly useful tool to enable you to make educated guesses about many aspects of chemistry. It is therefore in your best interests to keep testing yourself until you know
  • the positions of the elements in the periodic table
  • how to deduce from the position of the element some of its properties
Then you'll be able to answer these questions and others of the same type without having the periodic table in front of you. Note that there is also a periodic table available in the REFERENCE library accessed by the button above.
