Creating questons where the answers are in the flow of the page
Choose MultiTextEnter from the available question types.Answers entered in the flow of the text as ##A1## for Answer 1, ##A2## for Answer 2 and so on.
The answers can be presented in various formats:text boxes where the user types plain textwith radio buttonsas a list. There are three types of listconventional dropdown (no formatting can be displayed)html dropdown (formatting and images can be used)list (like a dropdown but all answers are shown)
The number that appears in the ##A1## is entered opposite the corresponding answer in the Order column at the bottom of the BasicQuestion page.
You can choose to have your answers AutoMarked (marked when a choice is made or when enter is pressed for a text enter box) and to AutoHide the surround so that only the answer (or formatted answer appears).
For a text-enter question, the correct item must be entered in the answer list with the appropriate type definition (Aform - A for answer). You can elect for text to be case-sensitive, numbers to be evaluated to a certain number of decimal places (any number entered that rounds to that value will be counted as correct). There is no entry in the correct item box.
If you want a text answer to be formatted, then enter the formatting in the DisplayAnswer box. For example a 3 can be displayed as 3.
