Given a ball-and-stick representation of a species EXn to be able to
- describe the shape
- identify the orientation of bonding electron pairs domains about the central atom
- use given information about non-bonding pairs at the central atom to identify the orientation of all electron pair domains about that atom
For species containing two or more different atoms of differing geometry to be able to
- identify the geometry from a given ball-and-stick structure or structural formula
- predict the bond angles at each atom
