Saturated: Saturated organic compounds have the maxium number of hydrogens. This means that the compound has no multiple bonds (either carbon-carbon or carbon-oxygen).

Primary, Secondary and Tertiary: Alcohols are classified according to the number of bonds to carbon at the C bearing OH.
If the C bearing OH is
bonded to one carbon, the alcohol is primary (1°) bonded to two carbons, the alcohol is secondary (2°) bonded to three carbons, the acohol is tertiary (3°)
